About the Role

We're looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to help market Msomi AI's AI-powered tutoring service to students, parents, and schools across Kenya. As a commission-based marketer, you'll promote our affordable, curriculum-aligned educational platform and earn competitive commissions on every subscription you generate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Msomi AI tutoring services to students, parents, and educational institutions
  • Use social media, WhatsApp groups, and community networks to reach potential customers
  • Attend school events, parent meetings, and community gatherings to market our services
  • Generate referrals and build a customer base through networking
  • Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about our platform
  • Track your sales and report weekly performance metrics
  • Share customer feedback to help improve our services
  • Meet monthly sales targets and KPIs

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma holder in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in social media marketing or equivalent community engagement
  • Kenyan resident with a valid national ID
  • Smartphone with internet access and active WhatsApp account
  • Strong communication skills in English and/or Kiswahili
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Passion for education and helping students succeed
  • Proven experience with social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated track record in sales or marketing campaigns

Commission Structure

  • Weekly Subscription (KES 80): Earn KES 16 per sale (20% commission)
  • Monthly Subscription (KES 180): Earn KES 36 per sale (20% commission)
  • Performance Bonuses: Top 3 performers each month receive additional KES 5,000, 3,000, and 2,000 respectively
  • Team Lead Opportunity: Recruit and manage a team of marketers and earn override commissions on their sales
  • Renewal Commissions: Earn 10% on customer renewals for customers you brought in
  • Payments: Weekly commission payouts via M-Pesa every Monday

When do I get paid?

Commissions are paid weekly every Monday via M-Pesa. You'll receive payment for all sales confirmed in the previous week.

Is there a minimum sales requirement?

There's no strict minimum, but we expect active marketers to generate at least 500 sales per month to remain in the program.

Can I do this alongside my current job?

Absolutely! This is perfect for earning extra income. Many of our marketers work part-time while maintaining other commitments.

How will I track my sales?

You'll receive a unique referral code and access to a real-time dashboard where you can track all your sales and commissions.

What marketing support do you provide?

We provide flyers, social media graphics, videos, training materials, and ongoing support from our marketing team.
